In the event the monthly service charge is not paid as required by this chapter, a late penalty for failure to timely pay the monthly service charge shall be added to the unpaid balance at the rate of $3.50 per overdue payment plus one percent per month on the amount of the unpaid balance. The city may take any action authorized under this division for the enforcement of wastewater regulations in order to enforce the payment of any such late penalty. [Code 2006 § 13-6-5.
