The mayor shall be paid compensation from the general funds of the city in an amount equal to $800.00 per month during his/her term as mayor. Each council member shall be paid compensation from the general funds of the city in an amount equal to $550.00 per month during the respective term of each such council member. [Code 2006 § 2-1-5.
