A. Within the city of Sedona, all signage at all locations engaged in the commercial solicitation of vacation club membership plans, timeshares or timeshare plans, including, but not limited to, off-premises canvassing (OPC) locations, kiosks, or podiums located adjacent to public rights-of-way, shall contain the following information:

1. The background color of the signage shall be of a color that is significantly different than the brown, green, and blue visitor information signage of the federal, state, and local governments; and

2. The name of the business owning and/or operating the establishment shall be disclosed on the face of the sign in letters of sufficient size to be clearly readable to the public, but in no event less than 70 percent of the average size and font thickness of the largest sign text; and

3. The words “Vacation Time Share Seller,” “Vacation Club Membership Seller,” “Vacation Ownership” or “Sales Solicitation” shall be printed and thereafter remain in an unobscured manner, and shall in no event be less than 50 percent of the average size and font thickness of the largest sign text in contrasting color and clearly readable to the public.
