The human resources department is authorized to receive, and such persons shall submit, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 41-1750and PL 92-544, fingerprints for state and federal criminal history record information for the purpose of evaluating the fitness of prospective employees, contract employees, or volunteers. The fingerprints received shall be submitted to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety may exchange this fingerprint data with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
