Any appeal from the decision of the city engineer and the director of community development pursuant to this chapter may be taken by any person by filing a written appeal with the city clerk within 10 days of the date of the decision. Such appeal shall specifically set forth the appellant’s objections to the decision based on information contained in the developer’s traffic impact study, the requirements of this chapter and the applicable technical reference standards. A copy of the appeal shall be provided to the city engineer and the director of community development. The appeal shall be placed on the council agenda for the next regular or special meeting. The council shall hear arguments from the city staff and from the appellant and decide the matter. The council decision shall be final. [Code 2006 § 7-17-8. Ord. 2008-05, 6-10-2008].
